- The overriding Goal of the project is to facilitate that “the major stakeholders for the conservation of Davao Gulf (and the Oceans in general) have raised their levels of commitment for affirmative actions in the next five years and beyond”
- On the impact level, the project shall ensure that “massive mobilization of all stakeholders is achieved through the employment of arts and creative activities in a holistic campaign to raise awareness and commitment towards nurturing the environment”;
- There are three major outputs that the project desires, the achievement of which shall serve as concrete index of success and stated as follows:
- Conservation-focused festivals of the arts including Live Music Concerts and Creative Showcases are organized in Davao City after the World Conference on the Oceans in Manado and the creative showcases are viewed by massive audiences;
- Artists, cultural workers, development administrators and policy-makers have attended the series of conferences, symposia and thematic congresses to recognize and affirm the significant “role of our creative diversity” as an engine for growth, as celebration of life and as an effective vehicle for change towards sustainable development;
- Community support and institutional patronage from both public and private sectors are in place through the organizational anchoring arrangements of the various festival components and events.
